The Sherwood Park Highland Gathering is a 100% volunteer-run event organized by the non-profit Strathcona Highland Society.
You can join a diverse group of volunteers who love Celtic traditions and fill the need in our region for an annual highland gathering, to promote closer ties in the community through the use of Celtic music, dance, and traditions, foster and promote community, and create a family friendly event for all to enjoy.
Please note all roles require individuals who are 18+ are available for the entire event weekend including setup and take down (July 18-20th); police checks are also required.
Coordinators will play key roles in the event, develop new skills and network, and enjoy free tickets to the event, merchandise draws and lunch on event days.

(January-September – 150 hours in total)

(February-September – 100 hours in total)
